The New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) seeks to hire an Architect Level 1, to work within the Division of Real Estate Services (DRES), Architectural Services Unit. The Division of Real Estate Services which manages the City's commercial real estate portfolio seeks an Architect Level 1 who will be responsible for the design of sites for various leasing projects on behalf of City agencies. Tasks include: evaluate agency needs, develop site assessments, prepare preliminary plans and scopes of work, review construction documents, assist in the negotiation of leases, constructions management and supervise consultants who prepare plans, construction documents and specifications.
